What we collect and what we never see

The workbooks and tools

The interactive workbooks and the planning tools save your entries to your own browser's local storage, on your computer. Nothing you type into them is transmitted to us or to any server. We cannot see it, back it up or recover it. If you clear your browser data, the entries go with it, which is what the save-to-file button is for.

This is deliberate. A PDSA workbook contains practice performance data and sometimes staff names. That information belongs in the practice.

What the site itself collects

If you ask to be notified about new guides, we collect your name, email address, practice name and role, and store them in our customer relationship management system. We use them to send you what you asked for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing removes you from further sends.

The site uses basic analytics to count page views. No analytics identifier is connected to anything you type into a workbook or tool.
